Photo Gallery Last week, the team competed in the OCBC Cycle Singapore Professional Criterium on the famous F1 race track. The race was slightly different than we were used to with only four riders per team and a course that was both longer and more technical than a typical US crit. With a truly world-class start list, we knew that we would have to be ready for a very fast and aggressive race. Our roster was my twin brother Kevin, Isaac Howe, Gavi Epstein and myself. Without
After nine races across nine states I packed up my bike and headed to the final race of the USA Crits Series. The series had started in March down in Tuscon Arizona and had made its way to Idaho, Georgia, New York and many other states. Gavi Epstein, Conor Mullervy, Ariel Mendez Penate, and I headed to Las Vegas to defend our 3rd place position in the team competition. The USA Crits Finale was hosted by Interbike 2013 which is a massive convention for the bike industry. I
The Thompson Bucks County Classic is one of the hardest two day races in America. The 112 mile road race is on Saturday and followed by a 50 mile criterium on Sunday. Race day I knew what I had to do and that was to be in a breakaway. Since the finish is on a climb I knew my best chan
After a weeks rest and recovery following the Philly Classic the team headed north to Quebec and the Tour de Beauce. Beauce is part of the UCI Americas Tour and consists of 6 stages spread over breath taking terrain. The course included rolling hills, spectacular climbs, and an amazing downtown Quebec City circuit through the old city. The team headed there with high hopes; in 2012 Matt Cooke had finished 1st on the Queen Stage of Mt. Megantic, and ended up 5th overall in the
The Parx Casino Philadelphia Cycling Classic, aka “Philly”, has a long history as the toughest one day race in the US. It was host to the U.S. National Championship from 1985-2005 and has remained as one of the most prestigious road races in America. Lining up for a race with that much history is daunting. The crowd, the course, and the competition all make for a crazy and electric atmosphere. The main feature of the race is the Manyunk Wall, a half mile section with gradient
